1oz silver coin prices
A 1oz silver coin contains one troy ounce of fine silver. Because many of the costs of producing and selling a coin are not tied to the value of its silver, those costs make up a larger share of the price than they do for gold coins. Collectable and limited-edition designs can carry much higher premiums. Prices below are the latest published prices from the dealers we track, checked hourly.
These are the Australian dealers we track, not the entire market. Each row shows the lowest published price for that product. Select a product to see every dealer.
Premium over the last 90 days
Median premium is the middle premium across the 9 dealers we have priced on most weekdays in this period, each counted once, lowest is the smallest premium any of them listed that day, and spot is the silver price in AUD on the left-hand scale.

What is the premium?
The premium is the amount a product's price sits above the spot value of its metal. It covers costs such as production and distribution, as well as the dealer's margin. We calculate it by comparing the published price with the spot price recorded when the price was collected.
For how GST applies to bullion, see the ATO's ruling GSTR 2003/10.
